Prospective Members

The sorority’s official graduate Membership Experience (ME) is by invitation only through one of our local graduate chapters and may not be solicited. Chapters host public events, such as forums, cultural presentations and social activities, which you are welcome to attend to become acquainted with sorority members and their community service activities in our area. For more information regarding membership into Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, please visit www.aka1908.com.

Visiting Members

Omega Chi Omega Chapter's monthly chapter meetings, for sorority members only, are held on the first Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m., with the exception of June and August. If you are new to the Montgomery area or are seeking a new chapter home, we cordially invite you to join us for an upcoming meeting. Please contact the Chapter President for additional information and attendance requirements if you are interested in visiting a meeting.

Transferring Members

Before transferring from one chapter to another, you must obtain approval from your current or most recently affiliated chapter. The Transfer Verification Form must be completed and signed by the President and Treasurer of your last affiliated chapter. The original completed form should be returned to you for submission as part of the transfer process.

Members currently classified as General Members must also obtain clearance from the Alpha Kappa Alpha Corporate Office before transferring to chapter membership. To receive information regarding chapter dues, transfer requirements, and the transfer process, please contact the Omega Chi Omega Membership Committee at omegachiomegamembership@gmail.com.
